Create Your Vision Board At Home

Ever feel like you're stuck in a rut?
Or do you feel overwhelmed with all your roles?
Is something lacking in your life?

Here's a very simple but profound way to gain clarity. Create a vision board!

A vision board (also called treasure map) is an intuitive process that produces a collage highlighting your dreams, desires, needs, and goals. First thing you do is answer the 150 reflection questions covering the ten areas of your life, which are:

1. Home Environment

2. Personal Finances

3. Friendships

4. Family Relationships

5. Primary Relationship

6. Physical Health & Body Image

7. Hobbies, Leisure, and Fun

8. Expressions of Creativity

9. Career & Life Purpose

10. Spirituality

After responding honestly to the 150 reflection questions, you gather images that portray what you want in your life. Say you’d like to lose some weight; you’d find images in magazines that showcase this desire such as someone working out, healthy meals, and big glasses of water.

Once you’ve found all your images for all ten areas of your life, they’re glued to a poster board. I suggest keeping your finished vision board somewhere you can see it often – near your closet, behind your office door, near the washing machine, or under your bed. This will be a constant reminder to make the proper decisions to get you closer to your goals.
